About Us

Arieh Charitable Trust (ACT) is the humble effort of a family to reach out to the needy and hurting in society with the love of Jesus Christ which was unfathomably depicted on the cross at Calvary about 2000 years ago.

ACT began in 2007 in the state of Tamil Nadu, India through the opening of a tailoring school for young women. These young women are taught the basics of tailoring under a government recognized tailoring program. The women are empowered to take up tailoring as a vocation. Another school was opened in Kerala, India in 2012. These programs are completely free of charge for all students.

Our Vision

Our vision is to uplift the most vulnerable segments of our society, namely young children and the elderly, through the provision of educational support, scholarships and other financial stipends for the children, and shelter and comfort for the elderly.

Old age homes are a big necessity in present day social living, where the young cannot or do not take care of the old and helpless. Our youth also need guidance, particularly in a world of selfishness and unbridled lust where in the pursuit of happiness, no stones are left unturned and no moral inhibitions exist anymore. Counseling centers and motivational challenges can help many a rudderless lad to find the right path.

The needs of a society are unending and we have our limitations. But as the Chinese saying goes, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.

We have taken our first step and are ready to walk the full length with the Lord God Almighty.
